A private day exploring the vineyards of the Beaujolais in the company of a French wine culture enthusiast.
You'll discover an ancient wine-growing region, with scenic landscapes and winemakers who work their Gamay grape variety with passion to produce terroir wines. Ten famous "Crus" such as Morgon, Brouilly, Fleurie and Chiroubles make up the Beaujolais wine route, fine, racy wines.
Three different approaches to winegrowing will be explored, with a small winery, a well-known regional winery and, finally, a winegrower working in biodynamic or natural viticulture.
As a merchant, WSET3 sommelier and, above all, passionate about France's culinary and wine heritage. I'll be joining you on the day to talk about France wine and its specific characteristics.
