Pratical Details

We pick you up at the destination of your choice within a 300km radius of Lyon (hotel, train station, airport, mountains for the ski season...).

Pick-up is normally around 9:00 a.m. and return around 5:00 p.m., i.e. a day of 8:00 hours for around 140km.

You'll be accompanied by someone with a wealth of knowledge about French vineyards, gastronomy and cultural heritage. We're a dynamic team of open-minded enthusiasts, all bilingual in English. We all attended the same business school in Lyon ( emlyon bs ), the same wine-tasting club ( Sup' de Coteaux ) and have taken part in International blind-tasting competitions.

The vehicle is driven by a private driver who is not a guide.

The transport vehicle is a Mercedes Electric Class E for couples - Mercedes Van Class V for 3 people or more. - Mercedes Sprinter for 8 people or more

You can buy wine at the wineries without any obligation.

In case of purchase, we take care of shipping the wines to your home.

Day Trip : Natural and Biodynamic Wine Rhône-Valley

A private day exploring the vineyards of the Northern Rhône-Valley, with a focus on "healthy" wines, including organic, biodynamic and natural wines in the company of a French culture enthusiast.

Three meetings with the winemaker of a small vineyard, two in the morning and one after lunch.

As a merchant, WSET3 sommelier and, above all, passionate about France's culinary and wine heritage. I'll be joining you on the day to talk about France wine and its specific characteristics.

Lunch with 100% natural products from the Lyon's region in a local gourmet restaurant.

Sharing and discussing Rhône-Valley and French wine-growing methods, trends and history.

Natural Rhône-Valley Wine tasting

A day to direct meeting of 3 winemakers according to different winemaking techniques such as bio or biodynamics.

Visits to small wine estates with immersions in the vines and explanations of non-interventionist viticulture, visits of the wineries with explanations of sulphur-free vinification, barrel tastings.

Depending on the availability of the winegrowers, 15 to 20 wines will tasted on the day.

AOC Côte-Rôtie, Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, Crozes-Hermitage and "Vin de France" outside the AOC system will be tasted throughout the day.

All the region's grape varieties will be tasted, including Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier for the white wines, and the region's only red grape variety, Syrah.

Lunch in a gourmet restaurant using only seasonal, regional and organic produce. Natural wine served at lunch.

This was super fun and informative wine tasting. Hugo paired a wide selection of French wines with French cheeses. The pairings were delicious. On all our wine tours, which are private, a partner company with qualified professional drivers is appointed to drive us throughout the day.

We have taken the decision to be 100% relaxed as a guide so as to be available during the day for discussions, tastings and lunch.

The vehicles on offer are as follows and vary according to the number of people on the day :

• 1 to 2 people : Mercedes Class E or Mercedes Maybach S680 on request.

• 3 to 7 pope : Merceded Van Class V with 6-seater saloon at the rear.

• 8 to 15 people : Mercedes Sprinter.

• Over 15 people : comfortable long-distance bus.

We can pick you up within a 200km radius of Lyon for our days out in the Beaujolais and Rhône-Valley vineyards.

If you need a transfer, to the airport or to another destination in France ( Paris, Marseille ), this company can take care of it.
