Tasting of 9 wines in 3 separate flights, the wines of the selection to be discussed together according to your tasting preferences.

Simple lunch/dinner with seasonal market produce.

This 3-hour tasting experience can be scheduled between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. every day of the year.

Private Wine Tasting in Lyon

For years now, we've been travelling around France and the Lyon region to discover the wines of small winegrowers who give us a real thrill. It is these wines, sourced directly from the estates, that we will be offering for tasting.

At least 8 wines will be served during the tasting, including a sparkling wine, two white wines, three red wines, an oxidative wine and a sweet wine.

The wines served at each tasting are always different, as we also want to continue rediscovering new flavors alongside you. On the whole, you'll be tasting mainly regional wines ( Beaujolais, Rhône Valley, Jura, Savoie and Bourgogne )

Here's one of the tastings offered to our last guests :

• Sparkling : Pet Nat 2022 from the Beaujolais region

• White wines : Sancerre 2022 from Loire Valley and Velteliner 2019 from Savoie.

• Red wines : Morgon 2021 from Beaujolais, Châteauneuf-du-pape 2020 from Rhone Valley and Pommard 1er Cru "Les Chanlins" 1996 from Bourgogne

• Oxydation wine : Jura region

• Sweet Wine : From older vintages ( +15 years )

If you want a specific year/vintage to taste, we'll be delighted to include it in the tasting ( available from 1922 to 2022 ).

A beautiful Cheese pairing diner in Lyon

Throughout the wine service, cheeses and charcuterie accompanied by bread and truffle butter will be offered to match the wines. All the cheeses are matured in the cheese dairy where we will be spending this moment. The owner has sourced all the cheeses directly from the producers and works with the seasons to ensure that the milk and therefore the cheeses are as tasty as possible.

You'll taste 6 differents raw-milk French cheeses ( a must ! ) made from cow's, goat's ans sheep's milk, as well as local charcuterie ( Saucisson, Pâté croûte, etc... ) and a traditional French dessert depending on the season ( Galette des Rois in January, Strawberry tart in Summer, etc... )

You don't need to book a lunch or dinner after the tasting, as the quantities served are equivalent to a meal.

If you have any food allergies or intolerances ( gluten-free bread, goat's cheese, almonds, etc... ), please, let us know and we'll find an equivalent !

The sommelier guided us to a cheese shop, which conveniently supplied us with wonderful cheese pairings to go with the wines. We learned extensively about wines in the various French regions, and had fun talking with 3 other couples. This is a wine tasting you should NOT miss if you are in Lyon! The sommelier was fantastic.
